Re: Boost gauge ?????
You mean under light throttle you were making more boost than normal?
Boost is a function of engine load, which is a function of throttle position, so the vacuum that you see while cruising will depend on how much throttle you're using. With no head-wind, on a flat road, you will probably see about ~16 Hg-in of vacuum on the highway.Jordan

Re: Boost gauge ?????
That's a good idea. I would keep an eye on it. If it continues, or gets worse, you may have developed a leak in a WG line or a sticky actuator.
Does the car behave normally otherwise?Last edited by The_Jerbel; 06-02-2010, 12:43 PM.Jordan

Re: Boost gauge ?????
i would guess wastegate line as well. had that problem before but it ended up in over boosting to 23psi on a turbo meant for 16max. luckly it didn't blow.Kevin
