You need to run VirtualPC, and then run a faux copy of XP.

i run my bentley in an xp VM on my mac

but i'm sure it'll work with 7 if you force it to run in computability mode xp style

yeah i got it all working only to find that my registered to my laptop and using virtual pc lables it as new pc and that i need to deactiviated it

That's no problem. You just deactivate it, write down the de-activation code that it gives you, and then re-register it using that code on the VirtualPC version.

the problem is that i had it activated on windows vista and then i upgraded to windows 7 and now i can't open the program to deactivate it and get it working again

I had the misfortune of paying for an e-bahn subscription once. I got locked out of my account after 6 months when VW took over from Bentley. That, and the index system was brutal to use. Never again will I give those assholes another dime.
