Late Intro - B5 S4

Howdy all. I was intending to do my local intro at the Calgary Moxie's meet last night, but I was drained after watching "The Mule" beat San Jose singlehandedly...that and the fact that there wasn't enough slush to set up a parking lot drift course (jk - I'm responsible).
I finally bought my '01.5 stock MT S4 last month after a nice 6 month obsessive compulsive search. Mileage was higher than I wanted, I paid more than I wanted, but the car is very clean and overall I'm quite pleased with the purchase. To date I've done the APR Stage 1, swapped to R1 diverters and picked up a set of FK Silverlines which I'll install as soon as my driveway melts, thanks to Ken at Concept-1 for getting me set up.

I'm hoping my join date preceded the Bylaw amendment and I'm grandfathered.

Exactly...no more Silvers, I think the club has a "No more Silver S4" clause in place.

Anywho, happy to be an Audi owner again, so far it does not appear that this car is possessed by the ghost of Hitler like my 5000 was. It didn't kick in until driving home from work last night and my CEL came on and I thought "Hey, I'm an Audi owner again!"

Personally, I'd be more concerned about the front license plate holder bunging up the clean lines of the bumper than anything.

And don't let these guys give you flak about your S being silver... it looks like aluminum which is light weight so it MUST be faster than the others. haha

No, base package only....and a nice base package it is. My wife's statement was right on the mark, there are many silver (Bright Titanium!) Audis out there, which makes them a far more effective sleeper than those head turning Nogaros...hehe...
I'm having a blast with this car so far, it is as smooth, tight and powerful as I had hoped. Big change from the '90 Celica GTS that has been my trusty (but rusty) DD for the past 2 years, my son finally gets it after helping me build it We'll see how long it holds together with him at the wheel...he can pay his own "Repair on the Street" tickets cuz it's officially barred from the driveway now.

Goofy front plate bracket is off, unfortunately there are a couple of holes tapped into the Euro cover...guess I'll have to get a Euro plate to cover up

When my front plate came off I had my bodyshop guy fill them in and deal with the rock chips at the same time.

(Europlate = attention = sleeper fail)
