becuase it's a splitter valve, there is difference between the atmosphere vent valve size and the recirculate valve. so when i went to switch the horn and the recirculate around for the driver side, the valve sizes didn't match up.

sooooo, i had to use my trusty dremel and cut a new hole and expand on the other.

so first i marked the new holes

then i cut new holes with the dremmel, they ain't pretty but they'll work

JORDAN, LOOK AT THIS PIC - Big hole is intake, small hole is atmosphere

        then i installed

That is a gross misconception about my knowledge base.

I am assuming you are going to modify your tuning for this as the ECU will be expecting that air back into the intake not vented to atmosphere?

I've been running the single splitter on my a4 for three years now with no problems or check lamps, etc. I remove it and strip and clean it every oil change as it seems to get some dirt in it where its placed.

lol, i have heard lot of s4's throwing codes with bovs. Vortex and audizine really seem to hate on them. I have no personal experience but from what i have heard it does create some issues. I am by no means an expert though.

                            Re: Psssssssssssssh

Sometimes these cars respond a little funky to BOV's and splitters because the MAF-based software expects the air to be re-used in the intake air path.
