So I finally got my replacement 034 exhaust manifold and finally finished at 2:00 yesterday morning. Was it worth it? Hell yes!!! I can't believe the difference it made. When I started the car and let it warm up I thought my EGT gauge was busted because the needle wouldn't move. Turns out the EGT's were just that low (under 800F at idle). So far it looks like the new manifold has dropped my EGT's about 200-300 F.
The biggest difference is in the timing advance though. At 19-20 PSI I'm seeing zero timing pull. The overall timing just flatlines at 20 BTDC under load. Also, the powerband is way smoother. Once I get that 5 speed conversion done this thing is going to be a beast. I'll try and post some accell vids in the next day or so.
