I'm looking for some summer wheels for the A4 Avant. I already have some 18" (234/40 r18) rubber so going 19" isn't an option. I'm thinking something with a machined face and black inside to hide the brake dust would be a good option. I'm also thinking ET35 so no spacers and will be nice and flush. What would you suggest? I think the car is 'Atlas Grey' although the paint pen for touch-up wasn't even close. It's basically Silverstone Grey with slightly less metallic flake.

Re: Sorry... another which wheels thread
On an Avant, open wheels like the VMR's are okay, but nothing great. On the sedans they are sick, but on wagons imo the best wheels are A8 reps or OEM type ones.
or Fat 5's
Monoblocks
or the euro A8's
Also I have to agree with Kor I think Huff's would look pretty sick too2011 Frontier DD

Re: Sorry... another which wheels thread
I found these too, but they might be too 'open' with the wagon at stock (S-line) height. At least they are 18" but a little cheap and I'm not sure how well they will stand up to our wonderful Calgary streets. Unfortunately the MRR HR4's are only available in 19" and larger while the HR5's are just as open as the first ones.

Re: Sorry... another which wheels thread
I think the S-line package included larger brakes. I can barely get the wash mitt in between the rotor and the 18" wheels. No space between the caliper and the wheel... well, I could maybe go down to 17" before they rubbed. I agree though, the rear brakes on my GTI look brutal with the RC's. BBK in the future when funds allow.

Re: Sorry... another which wheels thread
Rotiforms do look good on wagons actually.
OEM audi wheels are a great choice. OEM merc wheels too maybe.
What about OZ, there is the 35th Aniversary, the re-released Superturismos and also I think a few new styles? Wave?KR
