Re: suspension for b5 s4
If you want low and a good, aggressive ride, the Bilstein Sport and Eibach pro springs worked really well for me. It was a little lower than I liked, but would be great if you wanted a low car.Jordan

Re: suspension for b5 s4
hey ben.. if you read up on AZ/AW there is tons on this.. but the consesus is to buy coilovers.. most people that buy spring/shock kits hate them as they go too low for daily driving.. the H&R/bilstein is one of the worst unless you buy the ECS tuning sleeve kit which by then you should have just bought coilovers
i picked up eibach prostreet S coils for mine so i'll report back on those
others in the club have vogtland coils and H&Rs

Re: suspension for b5 s4
i have eibach sport line springs on my s4 on stock struts for over a year now. Its a little low, and kinda pisses me off everytime i go over a speed bump, but it sure looks tits!Kevin

Re: suspension for b5 s4
I had Vogtlands on my last silver car, and now have H&R Cups in this car.. If I were you I would save up for C/O's and do it right! There are always some good deals on used ones on either site.
For me it came down to Vogtland or Stasis... and many people said the Stasis C/O's (Not the Ohlins/Motorsports) tended to pourpose over rough roads.. but that was quite a few years back....

Re: suspension for b5 s4
ya i chose the eibachs from the reviews i've read on them..
currently the vogtlands have a clunking issue which is unexplained seems to happen to them after 6-1yr it seems
the H&Rs people say are great but some report blown shocks after 6 months not sure why/how on this one..
the eibachs are stiffer than the H&Rs but NOT as stiff as the vogtland Gts so right in the middle which should be good for me

Re: suspension for b5 s4
maybe consider some v-maxx coilovers? theyre decently cheap and from what ive heard they hold up pretty well
