So with the warm weather we've been having I finally broke down and put my summer tires on. This, of course means that I also got a chance to pair my new PBR ultimate pads with my TT carrier/A8 rotors. All I can say is that the braking power is f*cking unreal!!!
At about 3/4 modulation at about 60 km/hr or so I can easily generate enough stopping power to overpower the grip of a set of 225/40/18 tires. From 110 km/hr it stops hard enough to jam me into my seatbelt. All this without a hint of fade. If you're looking for a good B5 brake setup for under $500 I highly, highly recommend this combo.
