Well 255 is almost max on a non-m, 265 is the max and I will run it next year but I got sure a good deal on tires I figured I would run 255 this season. 19s would have been better but I think in the 18s will work. Chris they will grow on you, just like I expect working on the E46 will grow on you.

with a 255 you better be running a 10.5 or it will look verry similar to Jim bobs irock from the trailer park

Can you stretch a 255 run flat tire over a 10.5? Sometime about that doesn't seem right. I could run a 215 on a 9.5, I have a set of those laying around...

I know they are not needed, but $300 for an almost new staggered set was too good to pass up. Let's face it, I'm cheap.

Phil, so you're saying the only reason you got 18's was due to some cheap ass tires.... ? The wheels are nice, just not big enough.... 19's man!

I don't think 18's and springs are going to do it, but prove us wrong!

I have to drive over a 100 highway Kms a day, I don't think running stretched tires is a good idea, I didn't like it last year when I was driving even less, I am trying to run the widest rim possible without having to goto a stretched tire and keep a staggered look. I may get 19s still, but I would have to run a lower quality tire, unless somebody has 19s for sale. I am going to post a looking for ad.
