    really though i plan on never adjusting mine..set it to like 25" and good enough.. i think i'm still sold on H&R.. the vogtland which i used to want seem to have some clunking issues now in the rear and people are major pissed at it
    I think not. Have you ever tried adjusting a set that was driven in Calgary for a year or more? Maybe if you washed them thoroughly every few days it'd be fine.

      Re: Suspension Suggestions

      Not sure if you are referring to the KW's Jordan but I have personally adjusted a set of KW's that we had on a customers car for 3 years (still on, will be 4th year come spring), year round driving (yes including shitty winters) with no problems of adjustment at all. I can't say the same for other coilovers we have tried to adjust for customers. This customer doesn't wash his car religiously during the winter either, he maintains it but he doesn't spray it down every night or two.

        No, I'm not talking about KW's specifically. I've just seen a lot of CO's that were frozen in place by rust after as little as 1 year of driving in Calgary.

          Never had a problem with the coils I had on my Jetta seizing. They were FK silverlines. 2+ years as my daily driver.

            Direct result of the salted roads maybe?

            Not sure if you'd get the same problem here in Vancouver.

              Re: Suspension Suggestions

              Aaa yes, that is the case quite often, as you know already.

              Check out the salt spray test KW performed;

              http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_s...n.php#Polyamid

              That's one of the great things about KW, it's almost like they were made for the crappy climate we have! They adjust without any issues after years of use, I have yet to have a customer/vehicle come into the shop with a set of KW's that won't adjust.

                I have no doubt about it. I bet that you could still adjust a set of CO's after many years of driving in a place like CA or even Vancouver.

                        hahahaha.

                        people still salt their driveways and such. lots of salt. plus i hear calgary is just salty. must be all that ocean air..

                        oh.

                        wait.. that's vancouver with the ocean, and the no snow.

                        forgot.

                        this is way off topic. coil overs seem to be the thing to get, my mechanic raves about them all the time. "We just put XXXX into a XXXX", he gets excited.
