    Yeah, I just got accepted into the Glencoe this year after being on the waiting list for quite a while. I've been a member at Elbow for pretty long time though. IMO, Glencoe is definitely the better course (you can't beat the forest course) although I like how easy it is to get out and play at Elbow (Mountain is my favourite nine though).

      I like Mountain as well, in fact I bet you I would like Mountain more. I was younger and I couldn't play mountain very well, I liked how Mountain was quieter, but I hated playing Mountain to Elbow. Springs is my bread and butter.

      I have played 3 rounds at the Glencoe, I believe it was '04 and the course was gross. Looked like the course hadn't been touched all season. The green were burnt, the sand traps weren't raked, they were that nasty cheap sand, fairways were long and shaggy.

      Now the first two rounds were during an Interclub, and one was with a friend of mine who is a member.
