  • Easy q for those who change their own oil

    An easy question for those who pay attention while changing the oil on their turbo engines?
    Oil cooler design related=>
    The flange of the oil cooler has 3 channels/ports-one central port (outlet?) and 2 side ports (inlets?).
    Are the side channel/ports clear trough => allowing oil flow through both of them?
    Is the internal channel surface smooth or looks like a nut thread?

      The internal port is threaded, and one of the side ports has a tab in it, the other is clear.

        The tab was the reason I asked.
        Then everything should be just fine.

        Thank you Jordan!
