Hi everyone, my TCM problem got fixed by an Audi dealer in Burlingame, CA. First they told me that I have to pay for it, parts and labor, and I agreed to pay, they special ordered the part, but when I went back to pick up my car, was told that the work is covered by a 7 year 70,000 mile warranty. I contacted Audi USA before and was told that the standard warranty is not going to cover my problem, but in certain states there is an extended warranty on the emission control system. I have no idea of who did and what to contact the warranty department of Audi, but there was a very good result for me: I believe the TCM module failure is considered part of the system. If anybody needs more info, let me know, good luck if you have the same problem.

Is this something that pertains to the great state of California only?
What does the Emission system include?
If the TCM is covered - what about the TC , turbos, O2S and other failing fine Audi components?
What would be the way to officially get some clarification from Audi Canada (maybe)?
Do you think there could be something we are not aware of?
