I just need to take the time to post on my dealings with Raxles. So I've had a outer joint that seemed like it was clicking a bit. I mentioned it to Marty (the owner) and said I'd keep an eye on it. So 3 months later it's getting worse. I call Marty and let him know. Right off the hop he says that he warranties his stuff for life and he'll help me out. So I suggest that I can pay for an outer joint, have him ship it to me and I can send in my old joint for inspection. Then if it's defective he can just refund the purchase price for the new joint.
To my complete amazement, Marty just says "No need for that, I'll just take your word for it" and that he'd send me a new German made OEM outer joint minus shipping. I even offer to send the old CV end in with the core axles that I have yet to send in. Even then, he said "no need to". Also bear in mind, he did this knowing full well that my car was lowered.
Overall, I was blown away. After some of the warranty issues I've had with internet vendors, CTS and Kinetic being the worst . This was a breath of fresh air. What surprised me the most is that I was ready to have to argue it out. I asked myself, "why is this" and I realized that I've been conditioned through the years to automatically assume the worst about a vendor when it came to warranty claims.
Anyway, I know full well that I can be a fussy customer. However, I make a point of noting the good with the bad, and Raxles scored one for the good guys. Props to you Marty
