    2.7t problem .... resolution?

Got er booked in next week for a scan.Priced out o2 sensors.. $450 a pop lol.Didn't find anything about the egt's though. Anyone point me in the right direction for both, if those happen to be the culprits..

All vacuum lines appear attached and in great shape, no loose components found.Whats best method of doing a boost test.

Also can a scan pickup a bad o2 or egt even if its not throwing out codes.Weaker values or something along that line..

I can get you EGT sensors for MUCH less than your local costs.

Yes, you need a little bit of special equipment to do a boost leak test. A euro shop should be able to do it though.

                      Re: 2.7t problem .... surprise

Ok back to the chipped 02 A6. Had it scanned today at a respectable european shop.Came up with code #P1602,1458,1460,1461.Code for EGR temp circuit. He cleared codes and reset adaption values. No pop ups after reset. He told me these codes have nothing to do with the driveability of the car all other sensors are operating perfectly, o2's all within same parameters. Also the car has had the factory air box removed and been fitted with a k&n cone filter. Thus the heat sinks that accompany the ignition control module have been removed(as they are attached to the factory air system) apparently there is air ducting to cool these sensors along with die-electric grease. Is this where where my car comes to fault?Module heating and causing my problems? But only after software was installed i had the problems?Im baffled.
