Finally put enough km's on the new clutch to justify some pulls, Zoik(lenny) came over, first we went for a little cruise, nothing crazy. After traffic died down we did a couple of 2-3 pulls. Results were: stage 1 S4 hangs with stage 3 A6 until near the top of second, at that point the power advantage takes over, third gear and the stage 3 A6 hits it's stride and wants to take off. I am still running it without w/m and have the boost set at 19psi, I dont plan on bringing that up until I hook up the meth controller, then probably up to 21psi, with the ability to run it at 24+ if I want to break things. I would say well worth swapping the tranny and going full stage 3

Fueling is upgraded, Deka 60#, Tuning is VAST Beta tune, not running full boost yet and not running w/m. And the weight difference between an 00 S4 and an 01 A6 is almost 500lbs. Also the pulls were done on a 3 honk roll in second gear, I started at 2k RPM, so 3-4k RPM to spool and then pull away is not bad.

Not running full boost would make a rather large difference, I guess I thought 2nd would pull harder on a Stage 1. Be interesting to see the progress! Or vs. a Stage 3 S4 when you are done.

If we were to start the pull at 3k, there would be a larger difference, once I have it fully tuned, I would love to see how it stacks up against a stage 3 S4. Did you get yours back yet Mark?I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

Logging with Vag-com, tuning to be done be Mike at Vast, then more logging and possibly more tune revisions. I can do the mechanical work, just not so good at the final tuning portion of things. I also need to go shopping for a new netbook this weekend, I sold my Tosh Sattelite in the spring, it kept chucking my lemmi and vag drivers, so I chucked it.
