Re: Audi S4's B5 EDL
The system is Quattro 4, and uses your ABS sensors to detect wheelspin. When wheel spin is detected, the system applies the ABS brakes to that wheel in order to give resistance to that wheel and transfer torque to the other wheels. It can transfer 67% of the power from front to rear, and 100% of the power from side to side. The system is deactivated above 80kph.Jordan

each wheel kept stopping and it appeared to as if wheel was nearly taking it's turn at spinning the dyno. so the graph was really messy. the dyno number turned out a little lower then expected but at least i see how to resolve it for next run

What numbers did you get? Did Rogers car have the same problems?

Re: Audi S4's B5 EDL
You're thinking of ESP, rather than the EDL quattro system I described above.
Only '01+ cars have ESP, but ESP is a system that detects that certain wheels are going at a different speed than the others (if you lose traction and start traveling in a non-straight line), so it applies the brakes to the wheels that are traveling faster in order to keep the vehicle going straight down the road. It's fantastic for drivers who don't want to have complete control of the vehicle (they want the car to take care of any problems) and just want to have a safe drive, but not so good for the driver who intentionally wants to kick out the rear end and get the car going in a "non-linear" pathJordan

Re: Audi S4's B5 EDL
You dont have ESL.. so dont worry about pulling fuse 42. Its only on 01+ cars.
Thats interesting that yours came out 37hp higher! Did you do any Lemmi tweaks? Was Meth still disabled? They were done on the same night werent they?

Care to explain a bit more??
New intake? which one? You just add timing and take away fuel with lemmi?

427 at the wheels is very good for a K04 car...Jordan

Re: Audi S4's B5 EDL
I'm not calling you a liar. What I'm saying is that 427 is a realistic number for a strong K04 car. 500WHP is just not going to happen on K04'sm, ESPECIALLY at 4000 feet elevation on crappy Calgary gas.
I've been for a drive in your car. In fact, I did some pulls beside your car while I was a few car lengths ahead in my own carLast edited by The_Jerbel; 08-24-2009, 01:07 PM.Jordan
