What kind of ratios are you water/meth guys running?
Re: What kind of ratios are you water/meth guys running?
Thought I'd toss out a word to the wise to those running Snow systems and possibly others. Over the last week or so it seemed like I was blowing through W/M at an amazing rate. the reservior checked out. But I was still draining it in no time flat. Turns out i had a leak at the junction where the hose met the L elbow right before it went into my intake. I pulled it apart and found that the O ring was shrunk and hardened. Popped a new one in and was back to the races.
I suspect the O ring failure was due mainly to running a high/straight Methanol %. The only scary part was that this probably meant that at some point I had straight methanol being blown all over the engine compartment. Anyway, no harm no foul. However if your running high or pure Methanol % keep an eye on, or change out the system O rings.

Mopac on 16ave NE does. Don't know about the install though. It's pretty easy. Only took me about 4-5 hrs, and 2 of those were spent trying to re-seal my washer reservoir after I buggered the connection up. Otherwise call Calgary Autoworks, great shop to deal with.
