Rough idling and he said it needs $1500 of sensors. 00, silver, 202,000km for someone who might want a project.

Any modded B5 S4 around town? Yeah I have tested a couple B6 and I am ok with the fact they are slower and not so modifiable.

200,000 is alot of KM tho.. depends on what needs to be done

probably full suspension rebuild including all control arms
axle replacements maybe
diff fluid changes
timing belt again
other fluids
brakes
fix the sensors or whatever is going on
turbos are probably on the way out

7k plus ohhhhh another 15k and you can have a working fast car LOL

Depends on how he maintained it. My car had 270k km's but I maintiained the heck out of it, replacing pretty much everything mechanical on the car. It was more reliable than many of the cars with 100k that I work on...

It turns out the car needs about $1500 worth of sensors to get running properly. As I was driving it on Friday and it started to spit and sputter and now it won't hold idle. I am going to let it go for $7000, please let me know if you want to take advantage of this deal!

Only "sensors" hmm, I would say this is a car to totally rebuild if you buy it.

Could be a good project car.

you would have to hook it up to vag and get an inspection done before purchasing it, hell it could be something minor. definetly worth the 7k though.

7k.....that is TEMPTING!!! I couldn't care less about the sensors etc since I'd build the car into a stage 4 car, anyways.

I have to remind myself that I have a baby coming in 2 weeks so I don't make a rash and stupid decision!

Go for it, If I had the extra cash I'd pick it up now. Who cares about high km's. Oh yeah I only dont care about those things because I have a replacement for just about every conceivable part on that car. Who cares, point is at 7k it is an amazing deal

its in calgary and im in edmonton i'd like to double check it first to see if it would make it home
