      Re: speeding ticket

haha, I can guarantee you that when you have 550+ chp, the car will go 305, which is limited by the rev limiter at 7000 rpm. If you raised that to say, 8000 rpm, you could probably hit closer to 315

wouldn't you need race tires for that?

            Re: speeding ticket

Nope, a Y or a Z rated tire will get you there...

BTW, keep in mind that when you get a chip for your car, it typically increases the rev limited by a couple hundred rpm, increasing your potential top speed. The higher you increase the rev limiter, the higher your tranny can take you.

that's insanely fast. better have some seriously safety features at those speeds. like an eject button.

                        Re: speeding ticket

                        Yeah, that's what I figured.

It's the little black metal/rubber trim piece that goes on the driver's side of the windshield to cover up the edge of the glass. 2000 S4.

I recently got mine for ~$80 from dealership for both of the plastic windshield pieces, it will probably cost you a bit more. If it's because the plastic set screws in yours are toast you might be able to just get the screws instead of whole new windshield trim. I was told you can't just buy the said screw pieces and you had to get entirely new windshield trim but I saw a guy recently on AW who was supposedly selling just the new screw pieces. http://classifieds.audiworld.com/sho...ct/1510/cat/17
Here maybe he still has them or just use the p/n on the bag and order them up, it will be alot cheaper I'm sure.

i think i may need to replace the rubber trim that goes on top of my windshield

one corner is a bit loose and i don't want water getting in there and rusting the **** out of the roof

                            thoughts?
