i could have hit a high 11 on my last run of 12.2, but i missed two shifts :( . if i hit an 11 they'd kick me off becuase i don't have a roll cage, even though i have a billion air bags lol. it was only 15 degrees out and it had rained all weekend so the engine was very responsive and eager.
So if you hit 11 you can't run anymore? or do they just tell you to take it easy? Do they still give you your slip if you do hit 11? Not that my car is even close LOL

according to the officials at this track, they hand me a slip and say "don't come back until u have the requirements"
if my car is capable of running 11's then being easy on the throttle to run 12's isn't going to cut it because i'm still "capable" of it.
the weekend was kinda strange that way. all the cars there were big american muscle. the only "tuner cars" were myself, gt40'd s2000, gt30 integra gsr, m65 eaton on a delsol.
my friends s2000 ran a 12.4 @ 89 mph lol. he had to hit his brakes 3 times down the track to prevent hitting the wall. way too much power. @ 121 octane he dyno'd at 622 wheel hp. too much power for his build, floated a valve on the third run. towed home.
the integra ran 3 runs in the mid 12's. last run he cracked cylinder 3. i pulled his plug wire, injector wire and shorted his fan to stay on. he drove the 200 km home with me.
the delsol ran a flat 13.0 then his clutch started slipping.
the rest of the cars were muscle running straight headers, hood scoops, wheely bars and even parachutes. they mostly ran 12's and high 11's. the rest were in the 13's. respectable, but everyone expects muscle to run 10's; they don't.
so in my car ppl laughed a lot when i pulled up to american muscle. it was intimidating at first staging with all the noise and HUGE slicks and burnouts. i won 6/7 races.
initially they put me in super street (13.0 to 13.9). but i was running low 12's so they moved me into pro (12.0 to 12.9). i was beating everyone in pro with 12.2's and 12.3's and they could tell either my launches were slow or i missed shifts. so they knew i'd be an 11 so they moved me into super pro (11.9 and under). while they did the super pro swap, they said "btw, if u run an 11 then ur out and ur car will be on file for next year".
so they practically set me up to fail.
the issue i found with the weekend was initially the battle between muscle and "tuner". they were having a hard time with us. but the more we beat them, they slowly started asking questions. just as i thought they were coming along, they used that information to say **** like "you can make anything fast with all that computer technology". i didn't really understand that statement, so i had a tough time defending myself because they wouldn't comprehend my response.
It would be interesting to see what you can do here now for comparison.... I had only been once with that car, and it was with the old crappy clutch. I think I went 13.1@110.. with a really crappy launch.
Although there are a large number of RS4 PP's in use.. besides Spec thats typically the PP you hear the most problems with.
Nice video! One thing I should mention... there isnt an RS4 Y-Pipe in the car.... previous owner only got bits and pieces of the standard APR stage 3 kit. (That is unless you put one in!!)

Not sure what this time is at Race City or Edmonton.... could be different.

i think if you are about 11.6 anything under that a cage is required on edmonton's track, and a passenger isn't allow in the vehicle if you run faster than 14 seconds.
