    *giddy*

This car is going to be fun to sit in in 2 weeks.

Should we christen it, like.. smash some champagne on there or something? scratch the paint up a bit?

      Re: Allroad Turbo Project

      Another long day of work.
Big thanks to Ryan and Rob for coming over and helping.

Almost got the motor and transmission back in, broke the slave cylinder while tightening its bolt.. Tomorrow it should be bolted in.

      Back together again:

Yup the the fluid inlet snapped, after the cyclinder was bolted in place and the rachet was being removed. Luckily I know someone who has an extra slave cylinder kicking around

How did that happen? Did the ratchet hit the line, or was there a lot of tension on the line when you bolted in the SC? You may have had the motor too far from its final resting place to install the SC...

                      Re: Allroad Turbo Project

Car is pretty much all back together as of this evening. No updated pictures at the moment, camera battery needs to be recharged.

Still need a spider hose and a few other odds and ends..

                      ICs can wait

                          Re: Allroad Turbo Project

For now I will just join the open down pipes to the stock exhaust.
Ill see about a custom exhaust, might just do electronic dumps so I can have it nice and quiet for everyday use and highway driving and then loud when Im having fun
