2006 A3 2.0T vs A4 Avant 2.0T

Hey guys...
So we looked at both cars last weekend but didnt take them out for a drive.Fiance liked both, so was wondering is it that much more better to spend the extra money to goto a A4 avant 2.0T which is AWD compared to the FWD A3?

How do you guys find A3 in the winter? Is the AWD that much better to move up to. Engine and drive train is the same from what I understand.

a4 all the way!!

the a3 IMO is really an overpriced GTI in fwd version

the a4 is much better IMO.. i guess it depends on the purpose tho
