What you guys think? It's kinda cool I guess? Doesn't really make much sense to me because I'd assume anyone who could afford the premium price tag would usually rather buy something more purpose built. ///M Fanboys wet dream?

I know some of you think I have a bias toward your cars but I don't, I'm just realistic and blunt with my opinions. I like to express positive as well as negative sentiments that sometimes owners take offence to.

If you think so low of 135's then you must hate E46 and E36 styles too cause dude, the size of the car is the same or very very close....

All the new M's and 3 series are like fat pigs... It like driving a 5 series from 1999-2005
Just cause its a 1 does not mean its shi t...

I could of bought a new E92 M3, but i did not... why cause i dont want to drive a boat...
If the 1 series started with a 9 .. a 9 series same size as the current 1er would people think different...

Ive been to the track many times this year with my 1er, i ride with some fast cars, yet every single time in the pits M drivers will always come up and say WOW i did not know a 1 was so fast.... I even had a Guy in a new GTR talk to me about how good it handled and how fast it was on the track... I guess i would be asking too cause the guy cold not pass me...

Unless you own a 1, driven a 1, or driven in mine or even Dubsport 1er i would leave these comments on the 1er to rest... Cause dude you dont have a Clue on what your talking about.....

Hahaha Hey, I wasn't the one who brought it up? Also, couldn't you have private messaged your little 1series rant? Anyways, here is my opinion. Take it for what it's worth, I'm not trying to cram it down anyone's throat.

There's nothing wrong with the 135i's size, it's great for people who like a smaller car. I don't know exactly what point you are trying to prove when you compare an e92 with a nearly 600lb heavier E39. Yes, cars in general have grown in size...whatever. Some purists don't like it, I love it. It even fits 325/25/20's in the back nicely.

I'm not a big fanboy so I won't get into the whole ///M lineage or prestige spiel. I do have to point out that it's just a more performance oriented car. It has alot more options, a much better interior, it subjectively looks better, and I personally think it drives better. No matter what you say, you will never convince me that that a 135i could even compare to a 335i, let alone an M3. And yes, I have driven all 3 before and the 135i feels like an economy car to me.
I personally think it's ugly and suited as a girl's car, as do most people I know. Getting all insecure and giving me "little engine that could" speech will not change that. Just like those Miata, Boxster, or Sentra SE-R owners. I'm sure they are amazing on the track, but how do you left foot brake in heels? Just kidding.

Let's be honest here, life isn't all about the track. Get a dedicated track car if you are so into it. There are so many variables...type of track, type of racing, and especially skill level of the drivers. I remember a few years ago the best autoXer used a Dodge Dakota and beat everyone, does that even prove anything? If you want a bench racer response, the 335i beat 135i around Nordschleife by 1.1 seconds. They used the exact same driver and it was sanctioned by BMW. It DOES NOT mean the 335i handles better than the 135i, does it? Either way, good for you getting out there, buy some Pilot Cups and give them hell.

FYI, I don't even consider the GTR, E92M3, etc...fast. But then again, what do I know?

Anyway, I think the GT4 is insane. I wonder how much they plan on selling it for?
