Hey there,

i purchased Rob's used set of woodgrain trim. Electric sanded with 400. Then hand sanded with 600. Washed with soap and water. Painted with 2001 audi silver metalic mixed by Sam's AutoBody Supply. Clear coated. Let dry. Installed. Cut fingers. Swore. Completed. Tired.

thanx everyone . now that i've done it, it wouldn't be a big deal to do again . hopefully i won't have to!!!!

this came VERY handy for all the bolts holding everything together. small enough to fit in all the awkward places and enough torque to actually tighten and loosen. recommended!

i think next mod for me is to DIY paint the door handles.. i hate the chrome inner handles.. the allroad even has brushed aluminum ones!!

paint them matte black ala RS4 or brushed look.. fun times!

There is a guy on QW that powdercoats them for $80 plus exchange... Ive been looking at doing that.

i wonder how you could open the door if they were removed for a week? just pull the cable by hand hahaha or unroll the window and use the outside handle and then lock the car via the key to shut the window again hahaha

my driver one needs to be repalced anyways its loose/jacked right now
