what was the problem again with start buttons, lots of cars have them now... probably extra costs in getting them certified, just like with the seats

An Ibis White RS4 is definitely on the "short list" for my next ride.

No offense taken.

In my defense, I purchased a MK4 DBP R32 (w/Leather) last August with 8,955 miles on the odometer. As such, there were likely only 3 of them in the U.S. (ie. <10,000 miles) at the time.

Worst case scenario... I wonder if Loc at Cosmos Collision has ever painted an entire car before!

There was a used set of these seats kicking around on AZ I think for around $5K.

One of the S4 cars I almost bought (it was WAY more than I wanted to spend on a B6 / B7 though: the car sold for $32K USD) was a Sprint Blue B7 with full RS4 interior and killer aftermarket audio system. It was a Fourtitude project car. Those seats are awesome, but holy cow are they expensive. I wish I had the extra $10K sitting around, 'cause it was the nicest B7 S4 I have seen.
