How bad of a missfire is it anyways? Will the car reach full boost or just sputter? Or is it a small one at idle?
no misfires at idle or part throttle. the misfires only occure at WOT . the car stutters 2 times a second and then it goes into limp . check engine will begin flashing .
the dtc's says misfire on cylinder 6 .
i'm gonna swap the CP with a cylinder on the left bank and see what happens .
If it makes you feel any better I started having 'hiccups' with my car today.. full throttle, then it felt like it would hit limp and I would lose boost. Not quite sure.
You get a chance to grab the pressure tester last night?

no i left my office at about 4 am ... my immediate next goal was sleep . i'll spin by tonight around 6 or so . i'll put ur cable in the mail box .
hehe put a new T fitting in for my boost gauge last night.. i hate the OEM rubber hose!! gonna replace it all soon with silicone stuff
also installed new DVs.. put in Stratmospher hyperboosts in blue camo engine bay looks rad.. gonna paint my ypipe soon.. boost is much better with new DVs but still want to pressure test :/
lol well! i've never experienced this before .. but i went to change the coil pack, i figured maybe i'll take a lookie at the spark plug since the cp is off ... the spark plug was finger loose . i think i found my misfire :P
no more buzzing in the boost gauge but could only get 14PSI out of my car
Doesn't sound like your that much off Ryan, most stg.1 programs are about 1 bar or ~14.7psi boost I believe. You have VAG-com right just log block 115 and see how your requested vs actual boost figures are throughout the rev range. You'll see some difference down low in the revs on the initial boost spike but after pek boost or ~3500rpm your numbers should be within a few mbars of eachother until redline.
