If you found no leaks there, then you can disconnect the N75 valve and blow into the line coming off of the driver's side of the N75 valve. It should be air tight. If it's not, the engine is coming out.

I think under 5 is acceptable but under 3 is the usual

so i took it for a drive . if it was a boost leak, then it could have been a diverter valve . but now i'm misfiring on cylinder 6 . blah! 6 has a brand new coilpack on it too . blah!
Actually, a LOT of things can cause misfires. Boost leaks, AFR, timing, idle load, HG, SP's, CP's, IA's, etc. and the list goes on.
i think he means that i've gone through all those .
i've..
- tested the resistance and verified the o2 sensors
- tested the iat sender
- changed almost all the CP's
- checked boost leaks
- verified all the values i can on vag-com (timing, load, o2, throttle, commanded boost, actual boost, maf, iat, etc)
to check the transistor units, i can def try swapping them and see if i experience misfires on the other bank . i've only expereinced transistors to work or not work, not partially work . so i'll be interested if that's the issue .
they are amplifier transistors . they take a +5 trigger from the computer and pass the +12 from the battery to the cp . transistors are similar to a relay but solid state so their reaction time is in ms and ns measurements . because i design circuits and program microcontrollers for a living, i refer to the components by their natural name
