Just bought a B7 - quick question

Well i just bought a B7 so i get to start customizing all over again. My question is do i have to remove the bumper to change the grill on this car. I am sure i will have more questions as i go. Thanks a lot.

I've never changed the grill on a b7... But I've never had to remove a bumper cover to get to the grill. Sometimes the headlights get in the way.

Yes, the bumper has to be removed (at least partially) to remove the front grille. There are a couple of DIY giudes on audizine that show how to do it step by step. I found that disconnecting the wiring harness and headlamp washer was not needed, as you can lean the bumper forward enough to replace the grille.

Next question. Can i turn off the seat belt alarm with vag-com or something. It is really annoying when you have a small item on the passenger seat and it thinks it is a person.

check on Audizine for the bumper info. yes you can vag the seat belt chime, i did with the 20$ e-gay cable. or you can get the $$$ cable from rosstech.
