That 1 series in the video is very close in power/mods to mine, except for the DP's

Except that he was probably a lot closer to sea level, which makes a big difference...

It'll be nice to see what your car does on the dino.

That 135 is damn fast, i bet the Gallardo would win around a racetrack though.

135i is twin turbo which can compensate how high we are in Calgary. An NA motor like the one in the Gallardo will suffer more here due to the altitude. If that race took place in Calgary, the 135i would appear to pull harder Vs. the Gallardo.

With your new Riss set up on your 135 with JB3 or even the Dinan S2 program that i have, you would be very close or the same as that 135 in the vid...

Let me know when you get that stuff installed i would love to check it out..

Yes it would, but it will still lose a significant amount of power compared to the same setup at sea level.

LOL at Neon SRT4 of Bavaria. Sounds like an analogy made by someone who just lost a race. A 135i can handle its own around a road course, whereas the Neon SRT4 was more a drag-strip econo car. The only similarity I see is that both an SRT4 and a 135i are turbo cars that are capable of pissing off owners of much more expensive vehicles.

Oh and 335i owners can't dog on 135i owners.... unless they are only talking about styling preference, which is purely subjective and goes both ways.

                        Lost a race?

The 135i is a decent little car. Perfect for BMW purists and enthusiasts who felt the 3 series has grown too much in size. It's nimble and quick, plus with twin turbos from the factory, it's got a bit of potential for some room to play.

Contrary to what you believe, the world doesn't revolve around that one race. People in nicer cars don't care if they lose. Hell, they probably weren't even racing you to begin with. They are smug and laughing down at you for being so naive.

I know my post was arrogant, but I'm just telling it like it is. Aside from Nuthuggers, everyone else thinks 1series are girls' cars. There, I said it. So?
The 1 series is cute and is affordable because it's the lowest model in the BMW line up. The 135i has the more performance oriented drivetrain, just like the Neon/Calibre SRT4. FYI, neon ACRs are legendary in AutoX, your 135i doesn't even have an LSD!
335i owners look down on 135i's because the 3 series is a superior car to the 1 series. Of course, this is all relatively speaking but also in the grand scheme of things. It's just how it is...end of story. It's a higher model, has more options, better chassis, larger, and more expensive. Just because the 135i shares an engine and is slightly quicker doesn't change that it's a lesser car.

Nothing special, but I often roll with lots of Exotics. Even if I can keep up, I don't have anything worth being cocky about. Real talk.

While I am very impressed with the 135, at the end of the day it is what it is. My S4 is faster then a lot of more expensive cars.. but at the end of the day if I had the choice? I'd grab the RS4/335/M3/135 etc in a heartbeat. This arguement can go one for ever.. Turbo civic vs. 335? vs. Porsche?
