Torque converter rebulds

I was surprised to hear that somebody in town rebuilds successfully torque converters.
(the notorious Audi miss-product with the "captive clutch" on A6 and Allroad)


Is this practically possible?

Any impressions on such a job?

There are several people in town who will rebuild TC's, I chose to get mine from VAST, as the are using a Level10 product. I also found that shops in town were unwilling to make any changes to the TC, just return it to stock

Nothing yet, I have been spending my free time porting and tuning the minimoto
