partsource is where I found mine, down the aisle with other specialty tools, I believe the brand is powerbuilt, It is tagged VW tranny drain tool. Do not listen to Ryan, I searched every freakin crappy tire in the city with no luck

LOL, well I went to the CDN tire on McLeod trail and got a set of allen sockets (made by powerbuilt) for about $25. They've held up just fine so far (after a couple of years of hard use). I think there are around 8 different sizes in the package, including 17mm.

You got lucky, you know how much time I invested into searching for those odd sized allens, inverted torx and other random tools

haha, yeah I do know how much time you spent looking. I definitely do. Maybe you just got unlucky?? I know 2 other guys who went to the CDN tire on McLeod and found the allen socket kit with no problems...

i have a set of torx sockets i'd have to check the sizes.. i have allen sockets too but like 4-9mm thats all
