after spending the past week fixing odds and ends and getting the car road trip worthy........ it made a successful trip from calgary to thunder bay (17 hours and 56 minutes of driving)

no issues makes me a happy happy guy

minus one point for a speeding ticket ! i wish my cruise control worked.. the difference between 120 and 130 on the speedo is very sensitive :P

nice! we are doing a trip like that this summer in the allroad.. i'm bringing my vagcom and a few coil packs to be safe

When and where is this road trip planned for? Im heading across Canada July 1st to 24, Wouldn't mind some company to make that drive more enjoyable especially in Sask.

we aren't leaving until near end of august.. going all the way through canada to perry sound ontario to our cottage

then back through the northern US and up through montana

going to camp along the way as its cheapy cheap.. and we'll have our 2 dogs for entertainment. i'm thinking of putting in an OEM RNS-E or maybe aftermarket nav headunit into the allroad to help on the trip with maps and boredom LOL

i'll be doing 180+ across sask LOLLLL

Good Idea about the Camping. I have a new 8100 series Kenwood with the Nav, so I could lead the way. We are going through from Red Deer to Sault Ste.Marie then to Quebec City, through Montreal back through Toronto, Barrie and back. Let me know if you need Company!!!

nice.. yea we have 3 stops planned on the way there.. one just outside winnipeg then one in SSM and one in thunder bay

i had taken some . it's uhm,,... flat and straight . but nothern ontario is where all the beauty and twisties come out . although traffic can be a b!tch
