Sorry, if you were s4 play, you would have understood.

Re: s4 play on here?
both my cars can pull on bikes . but that's taken SOO much work to make that happen . bikes come off the lot weighing a few hundred pounds with 100+ hp, right? so my question is, why do bike drivers act so tough when they "beat a car"? bikes are fast for the obvious power to weight ratio; which puts them in a different class then cars.
it doesn't take much money or effort to purchase a bike, so quite a few of us could just go buy one if we cared. i'm definetly not critisizing bike owners and drivers as a whole. i'm merely curious to the logic behind most of their thinking against challenging cars and bragging when they win.
Satnam, do you have any insight on this?

insight: No comment, it looks like you've already decided, it's to look tough
Usually cars like to challenge bikes, maybe it's to look all tough trying to challenge a bike.
The s4 came close to me then pulled sort of hard????, or maybe the drivers foot slipped, and I misunderstood.(traffic was congested in that area BTW)
Or maybe I somehow magically slowed down too hard without realizing it by accidentally letting off the throttle.
I decided to catch up the s4 when traffic opened up a little, then pulled hard too, except the s4 didn't, eventually the s4 and subaru went north...I went south, end of story.
I was just curious if there was an intention, the reason for the original post - thought person my be a member.put.......put.......

Re: s4 play on here?
hooray for street racing on a busy street!
reasons why he didn't bother doing pulls with you on your bike.
1. it's illegal.
2. it's unsafe.
3. see aliencurv's post above.
4. bikes are used for twisty's not straight aways.
5. everyone can pull as hard as you can - on a bike. try leaning that bike at 160km/h around a chicane with a lean angle of more than 45 degrees - that's tough. None of this racing cars crap that weigh about 12097439187415897x more than your crotch rocket.

it's legal to do it with a car vs. car (s4, subaru)
it's safer car vs. car (s4, subaru)
it's ok for only aliencurv to pull on bikes
all bikes should stop driving on city streets, the streets are too straight
I'm surprised all the little angels on this board are coming out.

thanks
street racing is illegal period (covers your first and second idea that you gathered)
Aliencurv never said it was on the street (covers your third idea)
all vehicles (bikes, cars, trucks, tanks, anything with wheels) should stop racing on the street. take it to the track (covers your last idea).
have you ever driven beside lambo's, ferrari's? im going to be safe here and say that most of them rarely speed or try to race cars/bikes on the street. everyone knows they are fast cars so what's the point. it would just be more of an ego thing to race anybody. they know their fast and don't have to prove it.
look i owned a 2003 zx636 and sold it a year ago. with this much gravel still on the street i know what it's like driving a bike. i actually was a try hard when i owned one and got into 2 accidents with the bike =). I never did pulls on the street with other bikes or cars - I know how painful it can be and there's an increased chance with so many unpredictable variables on the street for something to go wrong and one wheel to slip away on you and your on the pavement. i hope what you gather from this post is that im not actually dissing you personally. im just saying be safe. street racing is illegal but nobody ever said you couldn't race. take your bike out to a track and see how more enjoyable racing is there. you wont be disappointed.Last edited by onepointeightdub; 05-06-2009, 10:11 AM.drive green ||

Re: s4 play on here?
ahhh ok,
it's ok to mod my car, drive it fast on the street, as long as I don't "street race", but never ever never drive a stock bike faster than posted limit.
why don't you find posts by other members about speeding and preach to them....or just find a mirror.
I posted a question, it was answered by the gerbel.Last edited by Satnam; 05-06-2009, 12:15 PM.put.......put.......
