Long Weekend Mods.. lots

Well I finally had some time to work on my car this weekend, and it was awesome!! I installed my USP (still waiting on grills and S4 sides.. I wont mention who from ) and decided to color match it to my lowers. My buddy is the western canada distributor for PPG paint so we mixed it up and sprayed it over the weekend. The car is going in for paint mid may if audi warranties my clear coat peeling so i figured i would wait.
Anyways weekend of mods included:

1) USP front
2) color matched USP and Vinny mod (which im not sure i really like)
3) started my new carbon fibre fabric interior
4) machined a EGR blockoff plate (welder buddies can be handy)
5) complete removal of SAI (found my boost leak!)
6) finished my heat shield (double sheet metal layers seperated by insulation cardboard)
7) CF fabric bumper trim
8) put the tonka toy rims back on (i need new brakes bad!)
9) installed my 3000k fog hids

It was a busy weekend!

looks good with the full paint..do some nice phat S4 doorblades too

i'm not feeling the wheels tho

its rolling every day.. word is "i get around" haha.. winter wheels are line-x's IWC quick silver.. and no not for sale, sorry i have grown attached

haha i found a set of 19' OZ Ultralaggeras (spelling?) in Vegas that caught my eye! custom fresh powdercoat dark gunmetal. I have always had a thing for the ultra's

EDIT: really i should be less focused on wheels, and more focused and fixing my paint issues (rock chips, clear coat, and serious rubbing damage )

How have you been shipping the wheels over the border? Do you typically have to pay much in duties etc?
Ive been looking around lots, but dont want to end up with a huge bill after shipping..

And who did you end up selling those HRE's to?? I wanted those bad!!

I actually have a set of wheels coming from VMR in transit, Im getting woried about the amount of duty and fee's myself, should be here within a couple days. Will keep you posted on the damage if interested.

HRE's went to family, (not blood, but close enough), and i never really get nailed at the border with the wheels. I have brought 4 sets across and the shipping can get expensive, but the savings are always huge overall. Im doing a road trip to scottsdale, through vegas next week and Im checking out the wheels then. You definately had second dibs on the wheels though haha
