i know im not going to be a tinter when i grow up haha, damn that was brutal, but i stuck the rest on and snapped a pic... what do you guys think, should i do it again(have it done) or leave them un-tinted? No big deal because i bought the cut pieces off ebay for $30, they were 20% btw.

I agree. You did a pretty decent job with the tinting (as far as I can tell from the pic), but since the clear parts are already smoked on the inside, I think more tint takes away from the beauty of the lights. Leave them as is.Patryk

It looks like you did a decent job, a better pic might be useful though. The only area I can see that might have been less than stellar is the trunk section where there is excess around the edges.
I'd keep them as is though. That is is I had an E46 with brand new LED taillights.

noooooooo-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-oooooooooooo, i took the angled pic so you cant see the side on the light haha, thats where it went terribly wrong. words cant describe it. Theyre back to stock now, tint is in a ball on the floor. The trunk part i just slapped on to take the picsigpic

Hah! Sounds like when I messed up installing an Invisible Shield on my MacBook Pro. I forgot to clean it prior and it effed itself royally. It ended up in a mangled ball.
Granted if I could find rear tinted taillights that were as dark as the Hella smoked tails on a MKIV Golf I'd be all over them. On your car though I like the aftermarket ones just as they are.
