Me neither... most of those look like the leftovers from some drunken, back alley coat-hanger abortion.

I stand by my vote for ol'school OEM Ronal wheels, maybe for winters.

Otherwise, it's tough to beat the quality and style of a wheel by OZ or BBS. I like the:

      Ultraleggera

      Superturismo GT

      CH

      RS-GT

It would help people if oyu let them know your budget.. they are all suggesting wheels that are fairly expensive, and if a set of used wheels for $1500 is out of your budget, chances are these will be as well.

Not trying to offend, Just sayin its easier to reccomend something if we know your budget. It may be personal to you, but it certainly helps narrow down the choices.

I agree with the budget aspect as the sky is the limit and I found this out when I purchased wheels for my coupe . There is a place in Maple ridge B.C Tire trends good service & price , I prefer wheels that have a lip or some dish to them, provides a different look.Question: what is the deal with staggering wheels on the older quattros ?
Another option I found was ASA 1/R1 which are similar to BBS ,made in same place and cheaper as many wheels come from the same manafactuers different material.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know which wheels these are?

You beat me to it Ian.

I was looking to see what the OP preferred for taste; once I know his style I can help narrow it down a bit.

Work Wheels, for instance. Custom build like iForged, DPE, HRE... but less than half the cost. And OZ wheels aren't as expensive as you might think -- Hartmann reps just as pricey if not more, depending on what you prefer.

hartmann makes a rep of that volk above.. they come in a dark bronze.. i'd probably have them re powdercoated to like silver or gray.. but nice wheels

works or volks.. i'd say 500+ a wheel depending on the model.. i bet the VSXX cost an arm/leg

those ASA gt1s are nice! checking them on tirerack 19s are 199 a wheel and then your tires cost as much as the wheel LOL.. bah!
