      I own a 2000 TT 180q, I wish it had more power sometimes, but I love it anyway. Its a fun car.

        I really like our 225q. There is never enough power! They go OK with chip and bolt ons but they are heaver than they look. You can go crazy with the 1.8T (ask Turbomeyers who I am sure will agree fits the description) and get some decent power. They do handle better than Mr Clarkson will have you believe.

          Yes, I noticed Jeremy is very hard on the mk1s... I think they are good looking cars based on a golf, so should be relatively reliable. The only thing that really scares me is the upkeep and service costs...

              Still one of my favourite cars ever. Aesthetically beautiful, and it was such a game changer when it hit the market. I still find myself looking at them on the road when they pass-by.
              Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....
