    Re: borla exhaust

I had a Borla muffler for my Mk4 Jetta, this was what Techtonics used to resell as part of their system.

Overall it was loud and very good performance. Loud in the car and outside too. Not very metalic sounding, more like a growling.

What are you trying to achieve? power? sound?

You will see greater performance gains from an upgraded downpipe as opposed to a cat back.

I want both power, and Sound.

I would love to go full Turbo back, however keeping peace of mind with my BMW warranty is #1.. for me.

I should still get some gains out of it, and make the car sound bad ass at the same time. As far as i know the stock exhaust is very very restrictive, and is way to quit for my taste

I heard a sound clip of a borla exhaust on a 135 on you tube, it sounded so sick, but i just would like to hear feed back from others and the experience they had with Borla.
