I know two of my customers who have 05 Allroad and a 05 S4 convertible with red leather insert, if interest PM me so I can hook you up with them, the one who own the Allroad he going to trade his in for a Q5, the S4 she just have too many cars.

anyone know if the b5.5 passat wagon is bigger than the b7/b8 a4 inside? i think they maybe are but 100% but i'll go see saturday i spose

according to my findings

B5.5 passat wagon has 39cuft cargo/54.6 seats down
allroad has 36.4cuft cargo/73.2 seats down
b6/b7 avant has 27.8/60.6 or 59(b7)

my b5 s4 has a whopping 13cuft in the trunk

i think i'll be hard pressed to find a b5.5 passat wagon with 4motion as i'm not buying fwd.

I've never really ridden in/checked out a B5.5 Passat wagon so I can't compare it to my allroad.

I have to say the B5/B5.5 Passat had more room in the in the cabin than the B7 A4 I rode to Washington in did. Or at least that's what it felt like.

A B5.5 Variant is definitely bigger than any A4 Avant. Allroad should be very similar.

Have you checked out the new MB GLK 350???

nope on merc yet.. i prefer to stick with VAG if i can as i know the motors and workings well.. but i'm may sway to the japanese or other germans

lol graeme don't worry about it.. more ramblings to myself.. i'm just confused how the b5.5 passat wagon can be as big as an allroad in the back when its based off the A4 chassis..

We also have a B6 Avant for the wife. Though it is definitely not as big as we would have liked, it does the job. Stroller fits, and still room for groceries etc. The design is just so much nicer than the Passat IMO. Don't know if this will help, just thought I'd chime in.

i'm gonna go check out the new b6 passat wagons too.. even tho it has no AWD the 2.0T is quick and the insides are nice and big enough.. and the price is good..
