  • lots of audis

Checked a q5 out today at royal oak.. damn they are NICE.. a bit small but pretty nice! q7 is sooo pimp.. drove like a dream

new b8 avant was fun to drive but sadly too small inside/back so my dreams of an a4/s4 avant are pretty much dead

b8 a4 sedan was only 41k!!!!! CHEAPPPPP avant was 55k..

need to decide between an allroad and q7 now.. will still go look at a treg and see how those are

checked out a 05 allroad that was a customer car out back but they had no used ones on the lot.. a second 2.7t scares me but the allroad has enough space for us which makes it perfect

the q7 had lots of space too and the 3rd row was pretty cool

Are you expecting a baby? If so, congrats man! I looked at a Q5 at glenmore yesterday! Looked pretty nice but not much different than a tiguan! Gotta say I love the look of the new X5!!!

Don't be scared of a second 2.7 Ryan...alteast you'll know it inside and out! I'd snag a V10 TDI 'reg from the states if I were you. I've seen them for mid 20's lately

really! i know matt had his for sale but 50 is alot still.

royal oak is getting in a leaseback allroad in 2-3 weeks with like 70000 on it and they want 34 the guy told me but i'll give them 25 LOL

and yea kyle i like the fact i know the 2.7T well now

but do the allroads eat CVs and axles too? as long as the previous maintenance is good i'm fine with that.. i'm starting to do alot of my own work on my car too

how has yours been? or is it still being fixed :( ?

derek no kids.. just 2 dogs haha.. kids someday but just preplanning i guess.. we are doing a cross country road trip this summer and packing a tent, etc in the S4 is freaking PACKED! did it last summer and it was really realy tight

the b8 avant was awesome to drive.. but only comes in a TIP.. although i don't mind.. but the back isn't that big.. its higher than my trunk but just as small
and the rear legroom is the craps

airbag issues or anything like that?

            Re: lots of audis

I liked the R-320, went and looked at one a couple weeks ago. Big inside, has a small third row of seats, a 210 hp V6 Diesel and AWD. The interior is really really nice inside, has some sweet options but........

It looks a little ugly on the outside I think. And we couldn't get anyone to talk to us. I actually had one salesman walking towards me and when I made eye contact he pretended to look busy. I guess I didn't look like the mercedes type heh.

I had an 09 XC70 T6 for a couple weeks and didn't want to give my V50 back. Valentine treats you so good too.

glenmore got in touch with me today and they have an 03 allroad in atlas grey!! which is a wicked color and only 61k on it coming in 2 weeks. price is like 25k but warranty runs out in june!! no way.. i'm asking them about CPO

regardless of 61k i'd get the timing belt done soon as its 5 years old..

also looking at new and last gen a6 avants and maybe the s6 avant from USA.. that would be nice

The BMW X5 drives really nice... check one out if just for comparison's sake.

Allroads are about $10k in the US right now, around 70k-95k miles.

I know they're freakishly ugly, but Subaru Tribecas drive really well too... and they're reliable/reasonable to keep in good running order. Though myself I'd just go with a Forester and mod the piss out of it to go hunting STi boy-racers. haha

                    Re: lots of audis

25k isn't too bad from a dealership for an 03' with 60k...but I would definately get them to add CPO to that if you can. I haven't had ANY problems with mine (knock on wood) other than one CV and one coilpack...it's been flawless besides those.

An S6 would be nice too...but for some reason I'm not a fan of the V8's. I drove a 4.2 allroad before I got mine, and although they sound nice, the mileage is less than ideal (not to mention they just feel heavier when driving). I'll take the tuneability of the 2.7 (even with it's issues) any day .

yea people on AW have mixed opinions.. i want CPO for sure.. the s6 woudln't have this i'm sure but i'm less scared of the 4.2

OK and from what i've read this is the case
                      4.2 in allroad is a detuned b6/b7 S4 4.2 SAME MOTOR
4.2 in the s6 is the same engine as the b6/b7 S4 4.2 same motor

I had just finished reading a similar article about 2.7T engine in the allroad is the same as S4 , engine managment & torque comes on differently .
I also had seen a S6 driven around town ,very nice despite being bigger.
Good luck with the decision. Usaully Calgary has better vehicle options I found .
