B5 A4 Engine Noise ...

Hey guys I have a B5 A4 2.8 and am experiencing noise in the engine during any speed acelleration. Sounds like it maybe coming from the flywheel.
Sounds like valve noise but isn't. Coming from flywheel area. Back of engine possibly?
I have a manual transmission.

Any thoughts?

Next step is place on hoist and try to duplicate.Narrow down. Does it go away with depressing clutch and is it possible to be more descriptive with noise description as Im expeirining noises as well.Some times only options are tearing it apart.
