My trunk won't open!

Lately I haven't been able to open my trunk using either the fob or putting the key in the trunk. Everything else unlocks but pressing the unlock key 2 which opens the trunk isn't opening the trunk anymore. Any ideas?

Sounds like your latch is jammed

The button works fine (my actual trunk button on the key fob doesn't do anything, usually I just have to press the unlock button twice to unlock everything). The trunk keyhole (whatever it is technically called) depresses like it should but perhaps like you said the actual latch is jammed. Anyway of finding out easily? By easily I mean some way that a mechanically uninclined person can do?

you have a trunk button on your fob???? wrong key fob.. not that it matters tho
b5s should just have panic, lock,unlock

i used my vagcom to set for all doors unlock with 1 push instead of 2 makes life easier
