  • Tough choice, need help

    I own a 2005.5 Audi S4 Avant 6MT w/Nav.

Considering trading it in for a grey 2007 335i Coupe 6MT tuned to 400HP, coilovers, exhaust same mileage as mine.

    This will be my DD.
    Am I crazy???
What would you rather have? What will hold its value better?

No question I would keep the avant. Thats my dream daily driver right there!
How much are they giving you on trade?

Well I'm not sure how much they would be giving me on a trade but I think it would be a direct trade straight across.
I can tell you which car would be more fun!!!

Your S4 is an amazing colour, I would find it hard to give that up!

          Re: Tough choice, need help

Well this is a tough choice as they are 2 very different cars, a wagon versus a coupe so not sure if you need the practicality at all of the Avant. Personally I think the S4 will hold the value better as it is a more unique car, hardly ever see an S4 Avant, especially in Sprint Blue, however I probably see 2-3 335s every day.

Guess it depends on whether you want an AWD wagon or a RWD coupe more. Some people around here might be interested in taking it off your hands though!

              Re: Tough choice, need help

True, my S4 doesnt have warranty either. The dealership is greedy and they want my car + $7000. So I guess I would have to sell my car if I wanted the 335i... I will be test driving it in a couple weeks, i'll let you know how it goes!

What do you guys think I could list my S4 Avant for? 80,000 KMs, Fully loaded, California car, RNS-E Navigation, black leather, 18" BBS w/dunlop winter tires, no scratches/chips (3m everywhere). Otherwise stock.

Your wagon is the exact car I would lust after for a daily. 33x interior isn't great and the bmw nav is dogshit.

No question, get the BMW. Seriously.
I actually like the BMW interior better than the Audi one (not a fan of the steering wheel), the I6 with twin turbos is sex and...wait...Coupe?

Na, keep the S4. If it was the sedan, totally. Otherwise, that S4 wagon is too sweet to ditch. Do a little something something to the wagon to make it fun again....

As stated above the S4 avant is much more unique, especially in that colour. I would personally stay with the S4.

quattro + 8 months of winter = FUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNN

rear wheel drive + 8 months of winter = NOT FUN

I believe 2004 was the last year Nogaro was offered, but I could be wrong.

Seems like you should keep the wagon!
