So, ive been thinking about getting an A3..

Well, ive been looking into getting a A3 and selling my wagon. From what i heard they are pretty soild cars. Just wondering what are some opinons on the car? Drivetrain? anything i should look for? And does anyone on the forums own one?

Im not 100% yet, but i really do like them. Kinda want something newer also.

If you asked this question 6 months ago, I would have said don't do it...mainly because the only way to get quattro was in the 3.2 s-line. But, now you can get in with the 2.0t...for a lot less than the 3.2 was. I say go for it, but you may miss the extra room you had in the wagon

2.0T Quattro with DSG and Magnetic Ride is now available....

Too bad out of my price range...oh and don't forget that the cargo area will be much shorter than your wagon, but headroom shouldn't be that much of a concern (unless your name is Gigantor or something and you hold a club in one hand and a lightning bolt in the other).

Now that I hear they have 2.0t quattro, im super interested as well

...that was...until I went to the website and saw you cant get 6spd quattro still...Pfft. Tossers.

thats for wicked info guys, I didnt know you could get the 2.0t in quattro...thats is interesting. As for the extra room. I dont even use the back of my wagon..its all sub box. but i think when im in calgary today. ill stop by some dealership and check them out, also my stop by a bmw dealership aswell.

Well i was in calgary today checking out cars..test drove a 09 a3 2.0T quattro, and well it was surpised. i liked it alot..if i didmt have the wagon i would have bought it today.Now i have to decide if i really want to sell the wagon or not.

Now another question. If i were to get one. Should i get one from the states? or just buy one here.

but price out a used one down there and currency convert then add like 2grandish for fees,etc ? guessign on that

used wont be a new one with quattro .
so i think with the financing what it is up here now mabey try get it from canada
