    Re: Engine pull

yeah, that was without meth, I pulled with Rob after the last meet, my TC was slipping badly, but he pulled away from me. Rob does have a very healthy stage 2+. I'm hoping after the new TC goes in I can stay even or pull on him. If not I guess I just have to get the full stage 3 setup going on a little sooner
I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

Don't get your hopes up too much yet. I'm getting on the Meth wagon soon enough, and with some tweakin I think you might be needing the stg.3 a little sooner than later.

Rob, if you add meth and do some tweakin I will def need stage 3 fueling to keep up. But with my luck I will get the fueling done just in time for you to show up with some RS6 K04's under the hood. Then what, I have to go GT!!

As soon as I turn the ignition on it pumps full (I had been testing it with hose going to a water bottle) I figured the MAP wasnt giving the proper voltage, so I replaced it, and nothing changes...

No good at all, I guess I got lucky that my replacement controller worked. But that is exactly what my first controller did, then it quit doing that and just gave me a fault code and wouldn't turn on the pump at all

                          Re: Engine pull

There are many people with the same meth kit that works flawlessly (mine included), but if the wiring is mixed up at all, the controller doesn't like that. The map sensor wire MUST be on the blue/grey wire from the get-go or else the controller's circuit gets screwed. VAST needs to do something about the installation instruction sheet...

                          Mark,
How is your kit wired up, in detail?

                            Re: Engine pull

These are the 'Devils Own' Meth kits..
I believe my first problem was from using the Posi-lock to the MAP sensor.. no idea what this one is from... but it sucks. I do agree the directions need some help.. not like I was dense enough to place the filter downstream.. but I used all the supplied parts and it fubar'd my first controller.

                            Lets see.. wiring in detail

                            -Ignition-75X
-Ground-1. Ground at fuse panel 2.Sanded/drilled into Chasis
                            -MAP-soldered to blue/grey MAP
                            -Pump connected via other wires

                            I think thats it?

I spoke with Chase at D.O breifly testing out the pump and control circuits last week.. but havent heard back about this issue. Im going to call today after work. As soon as any power goes to the unit.. it pumps in full.

Actually, they're not Devil's own, they're VAST, but most of the parts are made for VAST by DO...

                              Mark,
Which wires specifically are the pump hooked up to? Which wires are grounded, which is hooked up to the 75X?

There is some small little gremlin somewhere which is preventing you from enjoying the virtues of meth
