After hours of work and not just a little frustration the engine is finally out. Big thanks to Jordan for coming by tonight and helping to separate the driveshaft and pull the engine with me. Now I can get to work on the TC, downpipes, exhaust, 02 sensors, new mounts, spider hose, and a couple of random things I broke while pulling it. Hopefully only looking at a couple of weeks downtime.

Re: Engine pull
primary reason is the TC, it is slipping under hard acceleration, giving me codes TCC stuck off. And yes turbo's are already K04, I just have to get the rest of the cars drivetrain healthy enough to handle full stage 3 power. Kyle those clips were forged by the devilI may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

Re: Engine pull
Details, I am upgrading the TC by having the stall speed increased by 6-700 RPM, TCU going in for stage 3 software, lots of engine cleaning and then some painting, ceramic coat painting the downpipes after they have been gutted and staight piped. Exhaust is out so I will most likely do a custom catback employing a crossover x-pipe and magnaflow mufflers, considering 2.5" and 3"Last edited by Mantis; 09-18-2008, 05:53 AM.I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

Re: Engine pull
Andrew, your full stage 3 will eat me alive, meth is great for keeping IAT's low, but it is no match for stage 3 powa. Still, let's line em up and see what happens. From what I hear yours should be purring again soon.I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you
