The GPS system in Japan only so far (as far as I know) will identify when you are at a track and will then proceed to remove the limiter. Then you can unleash it.

However there is no system for them to actually know where you are at all times, Chris means to imply that they will know when you are at a track, and when you aren't you sure aren't going to be letting all the ponies fly. And yes they are highly un-modifiable.

Great car for the money. Best bang for buck performance car period, no matter what anyone says. Beats a F430 around the 'Ring. Even a F430 Scuderia. Probably gets a lot less pussy though.

I couldn't believe it at first...even the top JDM tuners were wheeling them in with stock rims and then after it was parked, putting on rims of their choice for the car shows....what the heck is the point in taking possibly the most lusted after jdm tuner vehicle and removing any ability to modify it??!

not even the rims are changeable?? huh what? what do they have some custom crazy drill and offset that nobody makes yet? how is there that one with LMs on it then?


i wouldn't say they removed the ability to mod it.. its just that its tuned so well from factory there isn't a need to mod it.

i was talking with some people yesterday about this..

take a new RS4 or M3.. really not much to mod other than wheels on those cars.. they perform so good out of the box you don't need to change anything

My shop resides right next to Refine, the owner of one of them just came in to drop off a fresh off the lot one the other day. Hes already getting it detailed for a show.
