  • New Exhaust

So I picked up a new catback for the car recently and tonight I decided to throw it in so I grabbed a couple pics while I was at it. The exhaust is techtonics 2.5" dual about the biggest ots exhaust for the s4 currently but I do believe some 4" single set ups are on the way or here already. It's overkill for the car as of now but come spring time it'll certaily come in handy.

Fitment was very tight and clearance certainly isn't too spectacular now. Not that it was before either.

Looks good in the end though, fits good and looks great, oh and sorry about the dirty car.

The exhaust sounds incredible imo as well, I never took a video or nothing but here's a couple youtube clips of it in action.

    Re: New Exhaust

GREAT POST , from Edmonton and somewhat new to forum I had noticed a post a while back with some ranting and great suggestions from you (RTFM I'm a ass post) a while back . You said exhaust is physicly lower and you replaced stock one ,correct ? as I am uncertain about best option and cost not to mention sound .Is the video you provided close to the sound and did you have a second choice ? Also what type of whees are those. irbaker@shaw.ca

Awesome Rob, I'm glad the exhaust system worked out well for you after all the hassle we went through in order to get it to you.

Hi there Mr. Baker just to answer your questions yes it did replace my stock catback, cost wise it certainly was not cheap I mean there are more $ systems but there are a lot that are cheaper as well. The clips I posted should sound about the same as that car is using the same catback, not sure if it has piggie dp's like my car but it certainly sounds good. As a second choice I wanted to wait a bit to see how development of the 4" system was coming but so far there isn't really any selection for mufflers and the clearance would be just as bad if not worse than the 2.5" duals. Oh and the wheels are flik justice 's.

Hey Jordan cheers for the hook ups again and now I'm getting excited to install this clutch you got me. Thanks and we'll talk more shortly here about some meth injection my friend.

Hey there Ryan, yeah I did install it myself, it was a pretty easy job although there was a few times a third arm could have come in handy. I guess the biggest pain was trying to align everything properly myself and make sure there wouldn't be any rattles as there is a couple places where there is about a 1/4 - 1/2" clearance.
