If it's going to be a daily driver ... buy something else
I disagree. If it's going to be a daily driver, then either get to know the car inside and out, or else make sure you have a good mechanic or else know somebody that is very good with these cars. If not, you'll either end up paying out the tailpipe for the dealership to work on your car, or else have some shop who is unfamiliar with these cars screw it up.

Just depends on what you're looking for. If you want a fast, trouble-free drive, buy the tip. If you want a driving machine with complete control over the ride, and don't mind a little extra work, then buy a 6sp.
